Provinces active in "Canadian Chef Educators Association"The Canadian Chef Educators Association is a Canadian national association that endeavours to promote the education of youth and adults in the area of hospitality. Much emphasis is put on the honoured professions of cooking and baking as the majority of the voting members in the association are professional chefs and educators. Each provincial association assumes autonomy of its own affairs and meets once each year in a national conference to share common goals and to advance the national goals of the Canadian Chef Educatooors Association. The annual conference is generally held around the third weekend of June to accommodate the chef educators who are less busy in their teaching kitchens at this time of the year. The conference is held in a different province each year in order to permit better sharing of ideas and to generate new memberships. The Canadian Chef Educators Association encourages and recognizes the strength and professional help that can be garnered from associate members. Associate membership may be applied for with the reccommendation of two members in good standing.
